Baby OOTD: Dinner Party

It's another Baby OOTD! We went to a dinner party yesterday and I loved the outfit my nephew was wearing, so I just had to share the cuteness.

Jumper: H&M | Jeans: Next | Shoes: Carters

I just love the coloured jeans he's wearing and the matching elbow patches on the jumper just make the outfit look so put together - for a 1 year old

Make sure to check back for more Baby OOTD's - provided he can stay still long enough for me to take any pictures of him!

University OOTD

This is the outfit I wore today to university - I usually like to go for quite a comfortable and laid back style which is very casual. I just love to be comfortable as I not only have to travel to university I have to sit in lecture rooms for hours, so would definitely not want to be stuck wearing something high maintenance or uncomfortable.

Here is the outfit I wore:

Snood: Primark | Varsity jacket: River Island | High-low Top: Primark
Jeans: New Look | Studded shoes: Primark

I love the high-low top from Primark since it's extremely comfortable with a flowy loose fit - I loved this top so much I bought it in two other colours aswell!

The leather sleeved varsity jacket adds some colour to this otherwise plain outfit and also a bit of edge with the leather sleeves and I threw on the snood just to keep me warm and cosy from the cold.

OOTD: Outfit of the Day - Newlook's Wall to Wall Fashion event

I was recently invited to the Newlook Autumn Winter '12 Launch event in Dubai (more on that in a dedicated post) and this is what I wore.
I really wanted to keep it simple and feminine but current at the same time. I opted to wear this dress from BHS that I got in the Boxing Day sales last year and never really got a chance to wear. I paired it with black leggings from Newlook.
Instead of going the all-black route, I thought it would be fun to pick an accent colour for the main accessories. My clutch and peep-toe heels were both a very unique shade of coral and both from Newlook. As for the jewelry, I kept it minimal and simple with Swarovski bracelets, a small gold pendant and a statement feather ring from Newlook.
I finished my look with a messy side bun, a coral lipstick (MAC Viva Glam Cyndi), black eyeliner with very natural conturing and H&M Lilac Plum on my nails.

I am STILL working on the post about the event but that will be up in a day or two!

Scroll down for more pictures.

Hope you enjoyed this look! Let me know what you thought of it and if you would like to see more OOTDs on here!
Special thanks to Ulfat for the amazing photography and Nada and Sara for being such amazing stylists!! ;)

OOTD: Outfit of the Day - Casual Sunday

Just had a casual coffee date with the girls and this is what I decided to wear. I thought it would be fun to add a pop of pastel colours to a rather grey outfit.

By the way, I have lots of new posts coming up since I recently attended the Newlook Autumn/Winter collection launch in Dubai. More on that later.

I did discover two new high street brands while I was there (I might be late on this, bear with me). The first one was SuiteBlanco which a Spanish company. The style was very chic, fun and affordable. The other one was Cotton On (which had an amazing sale on btw) that was a very colourful yet practical and wearable brand that originates from Australia.

Anyway! Here is what I wore:

Black top (underneath): Splash
Grey Hi-Low Top: Cotton On
Jeans: Newlook
Black studded pumps: SuiteBlanco
Bag: Suite Blanco
Arrow Bracelet: Forever21

I got an amazing birthday surprise by some beautiful friends and well, thankfully I was dressed for the occasion!
If pictures aren't too clear, its because they are all from the party and I didn't really get time to take some proper ones. And of course, some balloons for your viewing pleasure! :)

OOTD: Outfit Of the Day- Hint of Brass

So i have been thinking lots about 'key pieces'. How to put them together and how much importance to give to each piece. When I wore this skirt last time paired with white, it was definitely a key piece in the outfit.

This time I decided to dull it down with a black top and added a brass necklace as a key element to the outfit.

Top: New Look
Skirt FnF at Tesco
Brass Necklace: Local Bahraini shops

OOTD: Outfit of the Day - Colour blocking

Since I have kind of been into plain colour blocking and looking for those kind of inspirations but I didnt want to do harsh colour blocking, for this outfit, I ended up adding a white cotton skirt that adds a bit of lightness to the whole outfit.

Red racer back tank top: Primark
Skirt: Koton (I think this is a Turkish brand but they have stores here in the Middle East. They have a good selection of skirts and other stuff)
Blazer: Primark
Gladiator sandals: Random shop in Portobello Market
Owl Necklace: Ebay (can't remember the seller as this is from about 4 years ago, but there are LOADS around now)

OOTD: Outfit of the Day: Cobalt Blue with White

I think is probably my favourite of my maxi skirt series so far. Simply because i LOVE the colour of the skirt and the way it stands out when paired with white. I bought this white shirt yesterday at a shop here called City Max and like that it is long enough to pair with jeans or tuck into a skirt.
What do you guys think? And are you enjoying the maxi skirt OOTDs? (links for more at the end of this post)
Skirt: F&F at Tesco
Ring: Liberty Market, Lahore (Pakistan)
Bangle: Primark (part of a set)
Scarf: Primark
Shirt: City Max in Saudi Arabia

Here are some more maxi skirt outfits of the day that I have posted in the past couple of weeks:

If you guys need more ideas on how to style maxi skirts, I started a Pinterest board for maxi skirt inspiration from all over the internet!

OOTD: Outfit of the day: First day of work!

Today was my first day of work here in Saudi Arabia and this was the outfit that I put together.

Just to give you a little background though, I am only allowed to wear skirts (so lots of skirt related OOTDs coming up here! Keep a lookout if thats your style.) and have to dress somewhat conservatively. As I am new to skirts, its hard to put together the outfits and knowing how to pull them off.

Shirt: Next, Blazer: Cotton Club by Sting, Skirt: F&F from Tesco

Earrings: Primark, Sunglasses: NYS

Shoes: H&M, Tights: Marks and Spencers

What do you guys think of it? :)

OOTD: Painting the Town Red

Here is the outfit I wore today to university. I was going more for comfort so decided to go with a cardigan, but just threw on the scarf to make the outfit more interesting and add a little pattern to it. I put these shoes on after I found out I would be going to dinner the evening, so it transformed the outfit from day to night.

Shoes: Random boutique | Scarf: Came with a bag

I decided to tie the ends of the scarf into a knot and wore it in a snood style. To see some of the other scarves I have you can check out my Scarf collection blogpost.

Cardigan: Primark | Jeans: H&M | T-shirt: Primark

Although the place I got these wedges from does not have a website, I have seen similar shaped ones in New Look that have a Brogue pattern on them.
