OOTD: Painting the Town Red
Here is the outfit I wore today to university. I was going more for comfort so decided to go with a cardigan, but just threw on the scarf to make the outfit more interesting and add a little pattern to it. I put these shoes on after I found out I would be going to dinner the evening, so it transformed the outfit from day to night.
Shoes: Random boutique | Scarf: Came with a bag
I decided to tie the ends of the scarf into a knot and wore it in a snood style. To see some of the other scarves I have you can check out my Scarf collection blogpost.
Cardigan: Primark | Jeans: H&M | T-shirt: Primark
Although the place I got these wedges from does not have a website, I have seen similar shaped ones in New Look that have a Brogue pattern on them.

OOTD: Birthday Dinner
We went to Tinseltown for dinner yesterday for our cousin's birthday. I thought it would be a good idea to share the outfit I decided to wear!
Didn't really want to go full out on the outfit since we were just going to a restaurant, so I picked something simple but added jewellery to spruce up the outfit a bit! So here it is:
Didn't really want to go full out on the outfit since we were just going to a restaurant, so I picked something simple but added jewellery to spruce up the outfit a bit! So here it is:
Dress: New Look | Long sleeve T-shirt: Primark | Jeans: New Look
Boots: Shoe Zone | Earrings: Primark (I think?)
Ring: Dorothy Perkins
This ring looked great with the dress because of the polka dots on the dress and the ball shape of the ring, so they really worked well together and the ring really stood out because of its unusual shape.

Quick Tip: Preventing unzipped trousers
Here is a really simple way to prevent the zip on your trousers/jeans opening!
So all you need is a key-chain ring which needs to be big enough to fit around the button, on the trousers you will use this on. In this case the one I used was about the size of a 10p coin.
Loop the key-chain ring through the little hole that is at the top of the zip.
Do your zip up as normal and hook the key-chain ring around the button in your trousers/jeans.
Then you just button up your jeans, and you are sorted! Your jeans are now safe from opening unexpectedly.
Here is a look from the inside:
The loop is around the button and then the button is done up, preventing it from opening!
