Biggest H&M store - Emirates Mall, Dubai

I recently visited the biggest H&M store in the world which is located in the Emirates Mall in Dubai. Didn't end up buying much but I thought I would show you around the store through some pictures that I took. It was pretty much similar to any other H&M store but with lots and lots of variety and bigger sections for everything including bags and shoes. The new AdR at H&M collection was on display too. Enjoy the pictures! :)

OOTD: Outfit of the Day - Newlook's Wall to Wall Fashion event

I was recently invited to the Newlook Autumn Winter '12 Launch event in Dubai (more on that in a dedicated post) and this is what I wore. 

I really wanted to keep it simple and feminine but current at the same time. I opted to wear this dress from BHS that I got in the Boxing Day sales last year and never really got a chance to wear. I paired it with black leggings from Newlook. 

Instead of going the all-black route, I thought it would be fun to pick an accent colour for the main accessories. My clutch and peep-toe heels were both a very unique shade of coral and both from Newlook. As for the jewelry, I kept it minimal and simple with Swarovski bracelets, a small gold pendant and a statement feather ring from Newlook.

I finished my look with a messy side bun, a coral lipstick (MAC Viva Glam Cyndi), black eyeliner with very natural conturing and H&M Lilac Plum on my nails.

I am STILL working on the post about the event but that will be up in a day or two!

NOTD Nails of the Day + H&M Nailpolishes

Ive been doing a bit of shopping for an upcoming event (more about that in a few days. VERY exciting!) and while looking around in H&M this little nailpolish trio caught my eye. I have never really tried H&M beauty products or nailpolishes before so I wasn't really sure what to expect. By the way the colour variety they have is pretty amazing.
So coming back to this little trio. How perfect is this for autumn/winter? Berry shades are big in the coming season and I thought these would be great to wear in the wintery months as well as add an exciting pop of colour rather than wearing dull and boring shades.

The trio contains a really nice deep plum, Lilac Plum (my fav!), a red, Red Head (perfectestest red ever!) and a slightly dark pink (Pink Preppy). They apply really well and really smoothly and just one coat does the trick. I have one coat of Lilac Plum on my nails at the moment and I am sure I don't own any similar shades to this!

I wanna know though, what are your favourite shades for the upcoming AW season?

Outfit Inspiration: Colour Clash

I'm working on a really exciting post today (will be up in a day or two) but also been window shopping online. 

I love experimenting with colours instead of prints. I rarely wear really printed stuff and my outfits are mostly colour based (unless I'm wearing traditional clothes, they have a lot going on!)

I thought I'd put together something simple and elegant but exciting at the same time.

Outfit Inspiration: Maxi Skirt

We dont't always go out, and we don't always have outfit of the days to put up (I just love lounging in my jammies and let's admit it won't be a pretty thing to put on the blog). So why not have some outfit inspirations. A girl can dream right? ;)

I know a lot of you have been liking the maxi skirt outfits I have been doing recently, so I thought it was a good point to start. 

The orange skirt is obviously the star of the show with a white blouse and gold accents!

OOTD: Outfit of the Day: Dinner with the girls

I found out that I might be going back to Saudi soon and obviously a dinner get together was in order lst night with my cousins Amna, Asiya (you can click on the links to talk to them on twitter) and ofcourse Aneesa followed by sheesha with Numera and her sisters.
So I put together this outfit really last minute. Here's what I wore:

Girls night out!!

Just went to dinner with my cousins tonight in London!! Here's what I wore!

Bath and Body Works!

Since I had been living in the UK for a couple of years now, I only heard about Bath and Body Works on youtube or read about it on blogs. Its so tempting when someone describes the fragrances on youtube!

Anyway so while visiting Bahrain, I found a B&BW in City Centre mall! I was beyond excited (AND THEY HAD A 50% off- SCORE!) but since I was in a rush, I decided to quickly pick up two fragrances just to try it out (I know there will be a haul next time!)

Ofcourse since I LOVE fresh smells, I got two of those kind.

This is what I got:

(Left to right)

- Carried Away (Coup de foudre)- this smells really lightly vanilla-y and musky at the same time. But I think one of the main notes is Bergamot. This is a travel-sized bottle so great to freshen up after a long flight!

-White Citrus:Citrus Blanc (Fragrance mist)- this smells of citrus..all kinds of it! Although the fragrance is quite light and settles very quickly, I stil really like it!
