Bourjois Pop-Up Boutique, London: Ambience, Goody Bags and Haul

Hello lovely people! I really wanted to share this very exciting trip with all of you. So Bourjois is not a brand that I ever gravitated to so I thought this would be a good time to change that and try some of their products that I have been missing (especially the healthy mix foundation which I have heard loads about!)

So Numera, Abeer, Safiyah, Asmaa and Aaliaa and I (click on everyones names for their lovely blogs) planned to go to the final day of the Bourjois pop-up boutique in Shoreditch, London.

I have divided this post into sections for our ease: Ambience, what I got done, the goody bag and what i bought.

So without further ado, this is what went down.
Take a deep breath and get ready for the next best thing to going there: PICTURES!

Ambience
Venue Entrance
Decor and Counter

T4 Shooting at the venue and Macaroooons
Around the boutique

A list we were given as we entered to fill in with stuff we wanted to buy.
Tv presenter and model Jameela Jamil who was GORGEOUS and how yummy are her shoes!?

What I got done
The lovely Lizzie doing my nails for me. I opted for the Jaune Trendy 39 shade which was VERY adventurous for me!

Got my haaairr did

The Goody bag
The very popular goody bag! Below are the contents:

Very handy light up mirror

Mini 3D effect lipgloss keychain

Eyeshadow in 92 Gris Paillettes and swatch (not into it because the glitter separated when swatched)
BEAUTIFUL Gloss Bijou. Best packaging ever! Little disco ball that can be worn around the neck. Lip balm/gloss inside.

Foaming cleansing cream (that I used as soon as I got home and was amazing!)

What I bought (4 for £14)
Volume Glamour Ultra Black Mascara and brush

74 Rose Ambre blush with brush and swatch

So Laque Ultra Shine nailpolish in Jaune Trendy 39
Healthy Mix Serum Gel Foundation (that smells like fruits!) and swatch blended in

I hope you enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed going there! We had a lovely day and a special mention  to the staff who were absolutely amazing and really polite and helpful.

If you have any questions/comments please let me know in the comments below.
Did you go to the event? If you did let me know what you thought of it and if you wrote about it I would love to read!

The Only Way is Blogging (TOWIB)

Pic heavy post alert!!

So headed off to TOWIB yesterday and firstly, if you're not familiar, it is a social event for fashion and beauty bloggers organised by Hayley (better known as London Beauty Queen). It was our first time at such an event and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We loved the tips, Q&A, panel discussion, yummy brownies and scones and ofcourse, the fashion!

We know a lot of other lovely bloggers who went have already posted lots about it, so just to keep this nice and short, heres a bunch of pictures we took:

You can follow us on twitter if you met us/saw us yesterday but don't know how to get on touch and also if you would like to ask any questions about the event or if you just want to say hello! @craponsale @aneesaaziz

Out n about in London

The key to wearing a printed garment is definitely keeping everything else quite simple. So I wore this jumper with a plain top underneath and blue jeans for contrast.

London was bustling today! Went to Oxford street for a walkabout, lovely xmas decorations especially at Selfridges :) Here's a little compilation.

Black top: Primark
Jeans: Primark
Shoes: H&M
Snood: ASOS
Printed cardigan: Kenar at TKMaxx
Earrings: Forever21

Necklace collection!

Hey guys!
I should begin by saying how much i LOVE accessories, they can really make or break an outfit. If you wear too many statement pieces it can really end up looking like a mess.

I have little collections of various accessories like headbands, necklaces, rings and statement bangles.
I will be sharing them with you as we go along and I want to start by showing you some pieces from my necklace collection (probably part 1). I hope you like them! :)

I bought this from Forever21 in Saudi Arabia, I think the fact that the wings are movable just made me love it so much! haha

This is from Forever21 as well, you will see lots of animals in alot of stuff that I buy!

This is a vintage pendant that I bought this from a carboot sale in London (added my own chain). This has to be one of my favourites but not sure what it means (PLEASE comment if you know!).

This has a very vintage look as well. It is a 3 tiered (layered?) necklace with a pair of scissors, a little sewing machine and a little pair of glasses. Loved the whole craft element! :)
From Spitalfield market, London

This was given to me as a birthday present this year so don't know where it is from but it works great with asian AND western outfits.

IT MOVES! haha. Bought this from Forever21 in Dubai.

I ordered this ages ago off ebay for 2 pounds (YES!) before the whole owl trend came with full force. Its just the right size and goes with so many outfits. Very versatile and definitely one of my all time favourites!

We will be doing more 'collection' posts to add some variety. Do let me know in the comments what more you would like to see here!
