Bourjois Pop-Up Boutique, London: Ambience, Goody Bags and Haul

Hello lovely people! I really wanted to share this very exciting trip with all of you. So Bourjois is not a brand that I ever gravitated to so I thought this would be a good time to change that and try some of their products that I have been missing (especially the healthy mix foundation which I have heard loads about!)

So Numera, Abeer, Safiyah, Asmaa and Aaliaa and I (click on everyones names for their lovely blogs) planned to go to the final day of the Bourjois pop-up boutique in Shoreditch, London.

I have divided this post into sections for our ease: Ambience, what I got done, the goody bag and what i bought.

So without further ado, this is what went down.
Take a deep breath and get ready for the next best thing to going there: PICTURES!

What I got done
The lovely Lizzie doing my nails for me. I opted for the Jaune Trendy 39 shade which was VERY adventurous for me!

The Goody bag
The very popular goody bag! Below are the contents:

Very handy light up mirror

Mini 3D effect lipgloss keychain

Eyeshadow in 92 Gris Paillettes and swatch (not into it because the glitter separated when swatched)
BEAUTIFUL Gloss Bijou. Best packaging ever! Little disco ball that can be worn around the neck. Lip balm/gloss inside.

Foaming cleansing cream (that I used as soon as I got home and was amazing!)

What I bought (4 for £14)
Volume Glamour Ultra Black Mascara and brush

74 Rose Ambre blush with brush and swatch

So Laque Ultra Shine nailpolish in Jaune Trendy 39
Healthy Mix Serum Gel Foundation (that smells like fruits!) and swatch blended in

I hope you enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed going there! We had a lovely day and a special mention  to the staff who were absolutely amazing and really polite and helpful.

If you have any questions/comments please let me know in the comments below.
Did you go to the event? If you did let me know what you thought of it and if you wrote about it I would love to read!

Collective Drugstore Makeup Haul: MUA, Accessorize and ELF

My ELF order arrived yesterday (just stocking up/trying new stuff) and I also went for a random shopping trip just to look around and ended up buying some stuff. So without further ado, lets jump right into it!

I have been wanting to buy this Accessorize nailpolish for AGES now and I thought Im gonna go for it this time and I did! So in LOVE with this. I have no idea how to describe it but it has shades of purple and green in it. Reminds me of petrol for some reason. Obviously a proper NOTD post will come soon!
Accessorize nail polish in Aztec - £4 from Superdrug

So far I only tried MUA (Makeup Academy) lipsticks and found them to be VERY moisturising and long lasting (putting aside my gripe with the colour range) so I decided to buy some other products to try.
Looking through the eye pencils, this beautiful Royal Blue shade immediately caught my eye but once I swatched it, I KNEW I had to buy it because it went on SO soft and smooth with a rich colour pay off. Will definitely be going back and checking out more colours.
MUA Intense Colour Eyeliner in Royal Blue from Superdrug £1
Another MUA purchase with a brilliant colour pay off.
MUA Blusher in Shade 3 from Super drug £1

If you follow ELF cosmetics on their facebook page (they usually have lots of offers), they recently had a 30% off code and I thought it was a good time to stock up and also try some new things.

This Shimmering Facial Whip was a first time purchase and my first impression is that its a bit too shimmery for my skin tone. I might be using this for highlighting on the brow bone or at the top of my cheekbones.
ELF Shimmering Facial Whip in Pink Lemonade - £1.50

So far I have not had a bad experience with ELF makeup brushes so I thought I would add another one to my collection. This is VERY soft and perfect for the purpose.
ELF Professional Blending Eye Brush - £1.50

I have raved about the ELF HD Powder in the past and this was a repurchase (I'm gonna say maybe the 6th?)
ELF High Def Powder - £6
I got a bit curious about this powder foundation and thought it wouldn't hurt to give it a try. Swatches and review will come soon.
ELF Personal Blend Foundation in Medium - £7

Please let me know what products YOU have bought recently from any of these brands and what do you think of them? Also let me know in the comments below if you want detailed reviews of any of these.

P.S: Talking of makeup: Use my Ambassador code E8308 to receive a free gift with all purchases over £15 at www.eyeko.com :)
