Baby OOTD: Feeling Blue

My cousin has been staying with us recently and her son has the cutest outfits, so I thought I would share some of them with you guys. Enjoy the cuteness that follows:

Cardigan: Next | Trousers: Next | T-shirt: Primark | Boots: Tesco

University OOTD

This is the outfit I wore today to university - I usually like to go for quite a comfortable and laid back style which is very casual. I just love to be comfortable as I not only have to travel to university I have to sit in lecture rooms for hours, so would definitely not want to be stuck wearing something high maintenance or uncomfortable.

Here is the outfit I wore:

Snood: Primark | Varsity jacket: River Island | High-low Top: Primark
Jeans: New Look | Studded shoes: Primark

I love the high-low top from Primark since it's extremely comfortable with a flowy loose fit - I loved this top so much I bought it in two other colours aswell!

The leather sleeved varsity jacket adds some colour to this otherwise plain outfit and also a bit of edge with the leather sleeves and I threw on the snood just to keep me warm and cosy from the cold.

OOTD: Outfit of the Day : Birthday!!

I got an amazing birthday surprise by some beautiful friends and well, thankfully I was dressed for the occasion!
If pictures aren't too clear, its because they are all from the party and I didn't really get time to take some proper ones. And of course, some balloons for your viewing pleasure! :)
Shirt dress: H&M
White shirt: New Look
Belt: Primark
Shoes: A present from someone
Leggings: New Look

OOTD: Outfit of the Day - Colour blocking

Since I have kind of been into plain colour blocking and looking for those kind of inspirations but I didnt want to do harsh colour blocking, for this outfit, I ended up adding a white cotton skirt that adds a bit of lightness to the whole outfit.

Red racer back tank top: Primark
Skirt: Koton (I think this is a Turkish brand but they have stores here in the Middle East. They have a good selection of skirts and other stuff)
Blazer: Primark
Gladiator sandals: Random shop in Portobello Market
Owl Necklace: Ebay (can't remember the seller as this is from about 4 years ago, but there are LOADS around now)

OOTD: Outfit of the Day: Cobalt Blue with White

I think is probably my favourite of my maxi skirt series so far. Simply because i LOVE the colour of the skirt and the way it stands out when paired with white. I bought this white shirt yesterday at a shop here called City Max and like that it is long enough to pair with jeans or tuck into a skirt.
What do you guys think? And are you enjoying the maxi skirt OOTDs? (links for more at the end of this post)
Skirt: F&F at Tesco
Ring: Liberty Market, Lahore (Pakistan)
Bangle: Primark (part of a set)
Scarf: Primark
Shirt: City Max in Saudi Arabia

Here are some more maxi skirt outfits of the day that I have posted in the past couple of weeks:

If you guys need more ideas on how to style maxi skirts, I started a Pinterest board for maxi skirt inspiration from all over the internet!

OOTD: Outfit of the day: First day of work!

Today was my first day of work here in Saudi Arabia and this was the outfit that I put together.

Just to give you a little background though, I am only allowed to wear skirts (so lots of skirt related OOTDs coming up here! Keep a lookout if thats your style.) and have to dress somewhat conservatively. As I am new to skirts, its hard to put together the outfits and knowing how to pull them off.

Shirt: Next, Blazer: Cotton Club by Sting, Skirt: F&F from Tesco

Earrings: Primark, Sunglasses: NYS

Shoes: H&M, Tights: Marks and Spencers

What do you guys think of it? :)

OOTD: Painting the Town Red

Here is the outfit I wore today to university. I was going more for comfort so decided to go with a cardigan, but just threw on the scarf to make the outfit more interesting and add a little pattern to it. I put these shoes on after I found out I would be going to dinner the evening, so it transformed the outfit from day to night.

Shoes: Random boutique | Scarf: Came with a bag

I decided to tie the ends of the scarf into a knot and wore it in a snood style. To see some of the other scarves I have you can check out my Scarf collection blogpost.

Cardigan: Primark | Jeans: H&M | T-shirt: Primark

Although the place I got these wedges from does not have a website, I have seen similar shaped ones in New Look that have a Brogue pattern on them.

OOTD: Saman's TOWIB Outfit

If you have been following the blog, you know I am visiting London and obviously didn't know that there would be an event to attend while I was here. So this was a really difficult one to put together!

But here is what I wore:
Tshirt: Self-designed
Blazer: Primark
Belt: Primark
Skirt: F&F (at Tesco's!)
Tights (not pictured): Marks and Spencer
Shoes (not pictured): New look
Bag: H&M
Earrings: Silavat. Silver and Onyx (from Saudi Arabia)
Nails: Forever by 17 (closer look here)

I completed my look with a messy side bun just to add more of a feminine touch to the outfit.

Lipstick: Hot Lips by Eyeko London

If you were at TOWIB and didn't get to say, please say hello in the comments or on our twitter!

Primark Haul!

Its been quite a while since we had been to Primark, and looking at their shop window, we thought they had some pretty interesting stuff.
Its always hit 'n miss with Primark and alot of times we have to spend some time looking for some good outfits. Though there is no denying that its always great for basic stuff like t-shirts etc.

So lets start with what Aneesa bought. Four tops, all £3 each! BARGAIN!

pink lace top (sleeveless) with a black collar and gold accents

Light brown hoodie - perfect and cosy

Cropped ink blue knit cardigan with foil design

White sheer top with scalloped peter pan collar and black buttons

I was looking for tops to wear with long skirts (long story, a whole post about that later!) but didn't end up finding anything, so I bought some scarves and other things. I couldn't believe what an amazing collection of scarves they had, I wanted to buy them all! But this is what I ended up buying:

Scarves: £3 each

Since the belt section is right next to the scarves, I got sucked in! (£2 each)

I also bought some accessories (£2.50 each): a hair piece and a ring (set of four):
Now, just to say that I would usually never buy makeup from Primark, mostly because I see people swatching it all over the place and get really put off and also because I feel like its not very good quality. But I saw this eyeshadow palette and bought it because I liked the colours, and it was covered with plastic so I was sure no one had touched the insides of it! (I only swatched it once I got home and started blogging about it)

So the palette has 10 colours. Apart from a very floral and pastel tone, it also has two darker shades which makes it quite versatile. The packaging isn't too bad (I thought I could always use it as a jewellery box if the eyeshadows didn't work out!) with a mirror inside.
The eyeshadows are embedded within a very thin paper-y material, so not that great!)
All that for £2 though!

We really hope you enjoyed this haul! It is a bit picture heavy but we didn't want to miss anything out!
We have some exciting outfits and posts planned for our blog, so keep checking back for those!
