Outfit Inspiration: Colour Clash

I'm working on a really exciting post today (will be up in a day or two) but also been window shopping online. 

I love experimenting with colours instead of prints. I rarely wear really printed stuff and my outfits are mostly colour based (unless I'm wearing traditional clothes, they have a lot going on!)

I thought I'd put together something simple and elegant but exciting at the same time.

Outfit Inspiration: Maxi Skirt

We dont't always go out, and we don't always have outfit of the days to put up (I just love lounging in my jammies and let's admit it won't be a pretty thing to put on the blog). So why not have some outfit inspirations. A girl can dream right? ;)

I know a lot of you have been liking the maxi skirt outfits I have been doing recently, so I thought it was a good point to start. 

The orange skirt is obviously the star of the show with a white blouse and gold accents!

Ruffles!

Just went for dinner with the family so wore this dressy but not really overly fancy outfit! I think the ruffles on the blouse at some texture to the look but I did have to wear a t-shirt underneath since it was really sheer.

The hair-pin came out more pink in the pictures but it was actually the same coral colour as the blouse.
