New look's AW12 Collection Launch (Wall to Wall Fashion)

I was recently invited to New Look's Autumn/Winter '12 collection launch (titled 'Wall to Wall Fashion' ) by the lovely people down at the Fifth Ring PR.
Held at the Almas Tower at the Jumeirah Lake Towers (JLT), the event was nicely set up and very cosy with an impressive line up of media reps and bloggers.
The collection was divided into various sections: Spellbound that included with studs and houndstooth patterns, The Kelly Brook collection which consisted of more romantic and pin-up style pieces, Get Carter collection with owls, polka dots and more printed pieces just to name a few. Other collections had rocker style pieces with lots of studded details and leather and a party wear collection with cocktail dresses with an impressive amount of detail. Each of these collections included and Inspire line which is New Look's 18-26 range.
Apart from the Women wear collections, there was a Menswear selection (Pioneer, Sweeny Todd and Eton Mess) as well as a range for New Look's Generation 915 (9-15yrs).

The over all running themes for the whole launch were studs, mixed fabrics (leather+lace, denim+leather etc) as well as returning themes such as polka dots, owls, peplum tops and collared blouses.

I was definitely impressed by how well the whole event was organized. The very charming and enthusiastic Shaye Ueckermann from Fifth Ring PR showed us around the whole room in through detail and answered all our questions.
All attendees walked away with very generous gifts of an iPad case, scarf and 250 DHS vouchers from New Look.

Over all a fun and fashionable event that I was glad to be a part of on behalf of the Wear Everyday blog.
